Missing Teen Girls

June 29, 2010

TYSONS CORNER, Va. - There’s still no sign of two Fairfax County  (web | news) girls who have been missing for more than a week. And family and friends are growing more desperate.

Best friends Tiffany Ghani, 16, and Tram Hoang, 15, sophomores at Marshall High School, were last seen June 18. While it appears the girls left voluntarily, there are fears they have met with something more sinister. Buy Christian Louboutin Shoes

“A lot of people are worried about them,” said one classmate who didn’t want to be publicly identified. She says she can’t believe the girls missed finals last week, a sign, she believes, that something is wrong.

“I don’t think they would go so long without telling anybody where they are,” she said. “It’s probably more serious. The longer it is, probably the more serious it is.”

Tram had been spending the night at Tiffany’s apartment off International Drive in the Tysons Corner area on Friday, June 18. Tiffany’s family called police when, around midnight, the girls were gone. They didn’t take any personal items. Cheap Tiffany Jewellery

“They left those items at home, giving the idea that they weren’t planning on being gone for a long time,” said Ofc. Shelley Broderick, a Fairfax County police spokesperson.

A relative of Tiffany’s spotted what he believed to be one of the girls getting into a dark-colored car in the apartment parking lot with two men. He ran to chase the car, but it drove away.

“You don’t know if it was stranger that picked them up, or if they ran away — either way, you just grieve for the parents,” said Nona Fitchett, a Falls Church resident. Gucci Watches

The girls are close to their families and usually stay in touch. Parents and police say if anyone — especially friends — know something about Tiffany and Tram, they need to speak up. cheap True Religion Clothing

“Forget about the bond of secrecy, this era of not snitching,” said Al Fitchett, a Falls Church resident. “If you know something, communicate that to the family and let them know.”

Both girls were known as avid texters and Facebook users, but neither has used their cell phone or accessed their account since their disappearance.
